Nolan Arvin Zarek, Jr. is a lawyer and potential romance option in Love Tangle+. He is one of the residents at Lilac Court.
Background[]
Nolan was named after his father, Nolan Zarek, Sr., a renowned lawyer. As a little boy, Nolan loved his father very much and took pride in sharing the same name. He was also raised by his mother, who called him by his middle name, "Arvin," so that he would feel less like he was living in his father's shadow and more like an individual.[1] His father, in contrast, was strict and made sure that Nolan would be beneficial to his reputation. Aside from studying, he participated in a variety of activities such as horse riding, tennis, golf, yachting, and clay pigeon shooting so that his father could make more connections with the wealthy.[2][3]
When Nolan began to feel taken advantage of, he grew detached from his father and hated being called "junior." He strove to follow his father's career path and become a successful lawyer so that he could surpass his father at his own profession. Nolan no longer viewed him as his role model, but a rival. Since then, he and his father have had a formal, distant relationship.
About 10 years ago, while Nolan was in high school, his father won a case defending the son of a pharmaceutical company, despite that the public knew the defendant was guilty of drug trafficking. Because of it, Nolan faced ridicule at school from his peers and teachers who believed that he and his father were liars. One day, Miguel Hernandez, who attended the same school but was a stranger at the time, stood up for Nolan and tried to convince other students that his character did not reflect his father's. Since that moment, they began to talk more and eventually grew to become close friends.
